JILL JOHNSTON, MD, FAAP
Dr. Johnston grew up in Glen Carbon, IL and did her undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Public and Environmental Affairs. After graduating from college a year early, she worked as a senior research assistant studying critical care pediatric research at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Pediatric Research Institute for three years, during which time she decided to further her career as a medical doctor. She graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2001, and then returned to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis to complete her residency in 2004. She has been practicing Pediatrics in St. Clair County since 2004. Dr. Johnston is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Illinois State Medical Society.
She lives in O’Fallon, IL with her husband, son, daughter and beloved golden retriever. She enjoys traveling, snow skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
KEVIN PONCIROLI, MD, FAAP
Dr. Ponciroli grew up in St. Louis County and attended the University of Missouri - Columbia for 8 years, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and completing Medical School in 2003. He did his residency at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and has been practicing Pediatrics in St. Clair County since 2006. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Illinois State Medical Society.
His lives in Shiloh with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys running, watching his kids play every sport possible, Cardinal Baseball, and, of course, making balloon animals.
MALLORY EDWARDS, DNP,CPNP-PC
Mallory grew up near Springfield, IL. She earned her BSN/RN from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in 2016. From there she obtained her doctorate in pediatric primary care from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is a Captain in the United States Air Force and previously practiced in Utah at Hill Air Force Base Pediatric Clinic. She is currently working to obtain a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner degree to offer additional resources for pediatric mental health.
Mallory lives in Caseyville, IL with her husband, son and three fur babies. They enjoy staying active, coffee shops, new eateries and traveling.
katie Conkling, MSN, RN, CPNP- PC
Katie grew up in Glen Carbon, IL and obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2013. She worked at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for 5 years on the Infant/Toddler Medical/Surgical unit. During that time she became a Certified Pediatric Nurse. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing, focusing on Pediatric Primary Care, from Maryville University in 2017.
She is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). Katie has been practicing as a primary care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Illinois since 2019.
Katie resides in Illinois with her husband Ben, their daughter Bailey, and their son Grayson. She enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, being outside, and swimming in their pool!
